Wedding Shower Games
That Have Been Classics

I have listed here the CLASSIC wedding shower games and activities that have been around for many years. These are standard and most everyone knows how to play them. They are fun as well as easy.

BUT, there are SEVERAL more games that can be played at a wedding shower. I have them all listed for you at:

Bridal Shower Game Ideas - The Complete List

While choosing the right games for the wedding shower, consider your guests. Are they mostly the older crowd? They will want games that do not require much action. Simple printable word games and Don't Cross Your Legs are always appropriate.

An entertaining game and one that is great for photo ops is the Toilet Paper Wedding Dress game or the Newspaper Wedding Dress. You won't believe how fun and creative your guests can be! And the pictures are such a keepsake. These are games that will be remembered long after the shower is over.

If you are planning a wedding shower with a theme, start the process early. You may want to ask the birde-to-be before choosing the theme. There are several themes I like. Here you will find game to match a kitchen theme or simply a love theme. We also have a page that describes theme ideas for throwing a Closet themed shower or consider doing the Around the Clock theme.

When planning for the wedding shower, remember that you only need two or three games. One activity I found to be pretty fun is to ask the groom some questions in advance. Then at the shower, the bride-to-be has to answer the questions. For every question she answers incorrectly, have her start chewing a stick of gum. This can get hilarious if the bride misses too many!
