Our Holiday Party Games page is here to make any holiday a fun time. We want to help make your holiday memorable by offering great games to play.
Do you have a great story about playing a game listed on this site? Are there variations of the game you would like to share? Tell us!
We all know games are a very good source of recreation and enjoyment. Games refresh the body as well as the mind of the player. When a player is engrossed in the game, he forgets all his worries and anxieties. Everyone could use a little bit of stress relief during a holiday celebration. Thus, use some games to divert your family and friends attention away from the daily grind and worries to simply having an enjoyable time.
Planning a Spectacular Holiday Party
This is my favorite analogy about planning any big special occasion...
Imagine your mom needs to make dinner. Whether she is a good cook or not doesn't matter because she has a recipe book. She decides the menu and then grabs her cookbook. Mom heads into the kitchen and pulls out all the ingredients she will need. She uses her favorite baking stone and the whisk that Gramma gave her because it is always comforting to have familiar items to work with. In a little bit of time, she calls the family to dinner.
In this analogy, you are the Planner (mom in the above analogy). The Holiday Party (meal) needs to be prepared. You to also gather the information to help with the Overall Structure (menu) and the Games (recipes).
While making plans for the big event, you probably already know that having the perfect Location (kitchen) for the party is imperative. Plus, adding a Photographer, DJ and/or Caterers (utensils/tools) are the icing on the cake so to speak.
Each of these elements need to be considered when planning your Holiday Party.
We only played the Christmas ABC game tonight, but it was fun and funny! I have 3 more games and quizzes that I will take to my parents' house on Saturday. Thanks again!!
