The 4th of July Trivia Game Pack gives you everything you need to host a full trivia event - from first question to tiebreaker.
What's included:
Each game is a separate PDF so you can print exactly what you need for your group size. Works for teams or individual players.
You're already grabbing the 4th of July Game Pack (smart move), but hear us out for one more second. For just one dollar more - literally the cost of a sad vending machine water - you can add the Hot Dog Trivia Bonus Game packed with 12 questions and go from four games to five. That's 25% more party for the price of essentially nothing.
Your guests will spend at least some portion of the night passionately arguing whether a hot dog is a sandwich, debating Chicago vs. New York style, and seeing who actually knows their frankfurter facts from their fiction. It's chaotic, it's oddly divisive, and it is exactly the energy your 4th of July needs. Skip the upgrade and you'll be fine. Add it and you'll be legendary. The hot dog has spoken.
Is the Hot Dog a Sandwich or Not?
This is one of the great food debates, and the authorities are genuinely split.
The strongest case for yes comes from the dictionary. Merriam-Webster came down definitively on the side of yes — a hot dog is a sandwich — because their definition of sandwich is "two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between," and they declared "there is no sensible way around it." The government agrees too: based on the current definition set by the USDA, a hot dog is technically a sandwich. Reader's Digest
The strongest case for no comes from the industry itself. The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council has issued an official policy declaring the hot dog to be a "hot dog formerly known as a sandwich," arguing that limiting its significance by calling it "just a sandwich" is like calling the Dalai Lama just a guy. NHDSC Nathan's Famous is equally firm: Phil McCann, VP of marketing at Nathan's Famous, says "a hot dog is its own unique thing" and that "the same way a burger deserves its own category, sandwiches have their own category as well, and that category does not include hot dogs or burgers."
The bottom line: by strict dictionary and USDA definition it technically qualifies, but culturally and culinarily, most people — including the hot dog industry — insist it stands alone. It's a hot dog. It's its own thing.
Can I print multiple copies? Yes! Each PDF is yours to print as many times as you need for personal or classroom use.
Do I need any special software? Nope - just a PDF reader and a printer.
Is this good for large groups? Absolutely. The host instructions include tie-breaker rounds specifically designed for larger or competitive groups.
